Morning

Lord God, thank you for blessing me with another day of life. I am grateful for your mercies which are new this morning. As I start a brand new day, I look forward to standing in your abundant grace again. I pray that I see your majesty and goodness and lovingkindness in the coming hours and that I clearly see that Jesus is enough and that He alone satisfies.

Prepare me to respond rightly to hard circumstances and difficult people. Let me rejoice in both the pleasant and unpleasant, knowing that you are fully in control.

I pray that I am well-suited with the full armor of God that I may stand against the assaults of the enemy today. May my heart be pure, able to seek that which is good and right, turning away from evil.

Please show me what it is to be patient and kind, loving those around me. Might my love of Jesus be evident to all who cross my path. As a disciple of Jesus, teach me to follow hard after Him today. I want to also disciple my family through my words and my example.

Help me to order my steps today. My desire is to be obedient to you, my King and my Lord. I pray that I would think clearly, excel in my work and that I would be productive in my day’s activities so as to bring you honor and glory.  Amen.

Mid Day

Lord, I pray that our family will persevere in our respective walks of faith. Help us to think clearly and to make good decisions today, looking to you for our necessary wisdom.

I pray that we wouldn’t be overcome with fear, anxiety or discouragement, but rather display humble confidence and boldness in the face of adversity and danger.

Teach us to be grateful and content in all circumstances. Flood our hearts with joy as we seek to do your will.

Let us be ever mindful and vigilant against the wicked schemes of the enemy, that we would not fall prey to temptation. Help us in taking every thought captive and in separating ourselves from the course of this world.

Strengthen each of us in the inner man. Equip us and embolden us to do what you require of us today!

Draw us closer to you. Be to us our rock of salvation and our great deliverer. In the strong name of Jesus, Amen

Evening

Heavenly Father, I know that I have not fully loved you with all my heart today. Please bring to mind the specific things that I need to confess. Forgive me and cleanse me. Wash away the stain of my iniquity by the precious blood of Jesus Christ my Savior. Help me with my repentance so I that do not dishonor you with repeated sins.

Thank you for the day’s blessings: the strength you gave me, my health, the food and shelter you provided and the family you blessed me with.

Grant me a good night’s rest I pray. Protect my mind and body even in my sleep.

Praise and honor belong to you forever and ever, amen.
