God is in full control. With this I cannot lose heart. Hebrews, speaking of Jesus, says, “And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high… of the Son He says, “YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM (Heb. 1:3,8). What have I to fear?! Will He not bring to pass all that is good for me and glorifying to Himself?
This song reminds me, that when things are not going the way I hoped they would, to cling to Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand“.
