Genealogy>Mark Ort>Carol Ann (Kincaid) Ort

Carol Ann (Kincaid) Ort was born in 1941 in Hastings, West Virginia at her family home which was located at a place called Mockingbird Hill. As a child she moved to Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. Later, after moving to New Castle, Pennsylvania, she attended New Castle High School where she graduated in 1958.

Carol married Jack Edward Ort on February 28, 1959 at the First Presbyterian Church on Highland Avenue in New Castle. (See Wedding Photos Here)

She worked for the National Association of Letter Carriers in Washington DC while her husband Jack was in the Air Force. She had other jobs through the years such as working at the Dairy Queen in New Castle and working in the radiology department at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Despite having a couple jobs, she saw her main purpose as raising their three children: Mark Warren Ort, Daniel Edward Ort and Kelli Lynn (Ort) Chambers, and so she was a stay-at-home mother for many years.

Carol also was a foster mother to over twenty children over the years.

This site is a collection of my commentary on theology, current events, and everyday blue collar life. My primary purpose is to share my own personal studies in the Scriptures and to show how the Bible has been changing my life. The content here is meant to be an encouragement to my brothers and sisters in Christ: to view everything through the lens of God’s Word, for the Scriptures are what shapes our thinking and governs our behavior.
