A replicated clock tower located at the intersection of 3rd Street and College Avenue is one of the centerpieces of Beaver PA. Inside is a 2200-pound bell, cast in 1876 by the McShane Bell Foundry in Baltimore Maryland, which hung in the clock tower of the Beaver County Court House. According to the inscriptions near the bell, a devastating fire collapsed the clock tower in 1932, but the bell was recovered undamaged and rehung in the tower of the rebuilt Court House in 1933. After ringing for a total of 125 years, the bell was placed at its current location when the Court House was leveled in 2002.
