Groundhog Day is almost here! The moment of truth when we all find out how much winter is left. Today, the weather app horrified us in Western PA with a temperature of -18 in the Pittsburgh area and a balmy -12 in Punxsutawney, the home of the world-renowned weather prognosticating animal. With the recent bitter cold and last week’s 16 inches of snow, an early Spring would be a welcomed sight!

Punxsutawney Pennsylvania is known as the “Weather Capital of the World”! It’s a quaint taste of Small Town America about an hour and a half away from where we live. The downtown area has over 40 six-feet tall fiberglass groundhogs to welcome visitors into this unique place! Here are several of the statues:
